The purpose of the Oily Water Separator is to process water stored in the bilge of the ship to obtain a clean effluent water with an oil content below 15 PPM.

DELTA TYPE OWSA has been specially design to comply with the new regulation IMO MEPC 107(49) that apart from free oil it additionally requires the removal of the emulsified oil that might be present in the Bilge Water.

The design consists of a first treatment phase which is made up of our static separator conventional gravity DELTA OWS (more than 600 units supplied to the marine market over the past 20 years), with an improved coalescent filter, followed by a secondary Adsorption treatment process.
